TOBIAS Ellwood was moved to tears when he received an award at the Police Federation\u2019s Annual Conference for his brave attempts to save the life of PC Keith Palmer during the Westminster attack.<\/p>\n
Visibly moved, he paused to compose himself before paying credit to the others who tried to help PC Palmer. Mr Ellwood told delegates: \u201cYou don\u2019t know what\u2019s round the corner. And yet you put your uniform on every day and go to work.”<\/p>\n
He added:\u00a0\u201cWe owe you such a debt of gratitude for what you do day in, day out.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of Westminster \u2013 thanks for the work that you do day in, day out. It is not said enough but it is appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n
